Most of our Labor Day weekend was spent working at home getting things done that needed to be done. Saturday and Monday Collin worked all day in our attic and outside our house. I took care of some things inside and of course Caden. Sunday started a new quarter at church, so we started teaching Caden's class again. Sunday afternoon we hired a babysitter to watch Caden for a frew hours so we could go to JBF, and Sunday evening we went to the Cook's house to hang out. Overall we had a nice weekend.
Friday Collin got off work almost 2 hours early so we decided to drive to Granbury and check out the beach on the lake there. It was pretty neat. Caden LOVED playing in the sand and water. We considered driving to the coast last minute but decided for budget reasons it would be better to stay home. When we went to Dinosaur World we saw the beach in Granbury and knew we wanted to try it sometime. Friday early evening was perfect! We were the only people there at first. A little later a few more people started showing up but overall it was pretty empty. After swimming and playing in the sand for a while we washed off and went to dinner at a delicious Mexico food restaurant. There was also a splash pad off the beach. Caden was more interested in swimming in the lake and playing in the sand. Overall it was a nice public beach. All of the sand was inported from South Padre Island.
