2012 is here!!

Last year was a difficult year for us.  I had two miscarriages and Caden suffered through vomiting almost every day for 9 months, what a mess! Thankfully, Caden is now all better and we are finding out what my medical issues are.  We are also moving back to Texas!  God is answering our prayers and we are so thankful. 

We had a nice New Years celebration.  We spent it with our neighbors again this year.  Caden went to sleep around 7:30pm and we took our baby monitor next door and he slept through the massive firework show which lasted about an hour.  Then every hour on the hour we heard people shooting off more fireworks.  He woke up at 4am from the noise.  Before we put him to bed at around 7pm we shot some fireworks off with our neighbors so Caden could see them.

Today we shipped my our car!  They said it is estimated to arrive in Dallas on Feb. 27th.  What a long time to be without a vehicle!  Our household goods are being packed and shipped started on Jan. 16th.  Our last night in our house in Germany is Jan. 15th.  I was thinking about that last night and was a little sad.  I'm super excited to be returning home but our current home is the only home Caden knows.  He was born here.  We live in a quiet neighborhood next to farm fields.  It will be different moving to the city.  We are looking forward to house hunting.  Hopefully we can find the perfect place.  We're already praying about that.

Hope everyone is doing well.  Next week I'm picking up our German medical records, hopefully we can get them translated before returning to the States.  We will miss our friends in Germany but are looking forward to making new ones and catching up with old ones.  May 2012 be one of the best years ever!
